Accessibility Statement
Introduction
Our accommodation consists of two self catering holiday cottages, Pinster and Winnets. They were converted from a barn on the farm and provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, with quality furnishings and equipment for your stay in the Peak District National Park.
Pre-Arrival

The main train stations are Derby which is 40 minutes away by car, Buxton which is 35 minutes away and Matlock which is 25 minutes away.

There is a limited bus service to Alsop Station from Ashbourne. Church Farm Cottages are 1/2 mile on a public footpath from Alsop Station.

There is a local taxi service. Ashbourne Community Transport can provide accessible taxis if required.

We have a comprehensive website detailing accommodation including cottage layout and floor plans.

Public telephone kiosk is 2 miles away in Parwich village. There is good mobile phone reception outside the cottages for O2 and Orange.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

Outside both cottages there is a large car parking area with ample room for unloading and maneuvering.

The car park surface is a gently sloping cobbled surface.

Both cottages have outside lights.
Wash House
This is situated in the main yard. It contains a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is also a sink for washing walking boots.
Shop

There is no shop in the village, however we will accept deliveries on your behalf. Tesco, Sainsburys and Waitrose all deliver.

Peak District Fine Foods deliver locally sourced foods and ready meals. They can be contacted on www.peakdistrictfinefoods.co.uk

The nearest shop is in the Sycamore Pub in Parwich Village, which is 2 miles from Church Farm. It sells a selection of items including fresh bread, vegetables, meats, canned goods and confectionery.
Main Entrance for Pinster Cottage

The entrance is at the front.

The door is 142cm wide and hinged from the right opening inwards, the keyhole is 144cm high.

There is a step of 18cm high when entering the cottage.

The entrance is a tiled floor measuring 140 x 150cm with a 18cm step leading to the hallway which has a beige carpet.

All door surrounds are contrasting.

To the left is bedroom 1 and bedroom 2.

Directly in front is the bathroom.
